- Account data: If you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Manus OAuth authentication.
- Usage data: We collect anonymised analytics data (page views, session duration, referral source) via our analytics provider. This data does not identify you personally.
- Submission data: If you submit an event or business listing, we collect the information you provide in the submission form.
- Payment data: If you purchase a promoted listing, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We retain a record of the transaction (amount, date, Stripe payment ID) for accounting purposes.
- Cookies: We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the GlasgowThings service
- Process event and business submissions
- Process payments for promoted listings
- Send transactional emails (submission confirmations, account notices)
- Analyse site usage to improve content and user experience
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases (UK GDPR):
